Special Ministry Emphases

Women's Ministries provides a wide array of opportunities for spiritual development, leadership training, and financial giving through organized special ministry emphases and events. These are listed in the index below. To learn more about each one, click on the link for that specific emphasis or event.

Blanche L. King Scholarship Fund
Named in honor of the third general president, the Blanche L. King Scholarship Fund provides needed tuition assistance to children of active IPHC missionaries. An offering to support the fund is received in local WM groups each July.

Christmas Missions–Agnes Robinson Missions Fund
Named in honor of our fifth general president, this annual WM sponsored offering provides a much-needed Christmas bonus for IPHC missionaries, as well as funding for other special missions projects.

Feast of Ingathering
Developed by Addie Scott Muse, the second general president. Held in the autumn, this is a special time for each of our denominational colleges to receive financial support, raised by IPHC women throughout the preceding year.

Harvest Train
A time to celebrate the ministries of our benevolent institutions and to bring financial offerings and commodities to assist them in carrying out those ministries.

Women's Ministries Day
Held the second Sunday of March, in honor of Lila Berry, the founder and first general president of the women’s organization in the Pentecostal Holiness Church. A special program is provided for use in a special church service. An offering is received to help General Women’s Ministries.
