Willie Chalker was one of the recipients of the scholarships that are funded at Emmanuel through the annual Feast of Ingathering offering. Jewelle Stewart received this letter of thanks in the Women's Ministries office and wanted to share it with those of you who give faithfully to this offering.

Mrs. Stewart,

I know many times in our world we are not nearly as full of gratitude as we should be. I know that I have been guilty of this myself, and for that I apologize. Again, may I say thank you.

I am one of the many people who have benefited directly from your long, tireless hours. I want to thank you, your staff, and every woman in our denomination who has made it possible for people like me. I am a first generation PH member and college student.

Four years ago I owed over $5,000. Since I am a student paying for college on my own, I am truly grateful for your part in allowing me to fulfill the purpose of God for my life. You have been a real blessing, and you are actively taking part in any ministry that God may be leading me into. I graduated in May [2007] and
all you ladies are responsible. Again, thank you. You have truly fulfilled all I learned from Matthew 25 and James 2.
